Reading, England – 6th March 2017 – READ College, the most successful Performing Arts Foundation Course provider in the country, is delighted to announce that their 22 graduating students have currently been offered 36 places at full time Performing Arts Schools for next year. This outstanding result demonstrates the level and quality of professional performing arts training at READ College and is testament to the contribution to the arts that the town of Reading continues to make.

In addition, READ graduate, Charlotte Guest (who graduated in 2014 and went on to a three year degree at Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford) and has just been nominated for the Spotlight Student Prize 2017. Only 20 students have been selected from hundreds at drama schools across the UK, and she will now have to perform two speeches in front of top agents and casting directors on July 11th in London. From that two prizes will be awarded – Best Screen Performance and Best Stage Performance, and we wish her all the best with this competition.
