Reading, England – 30th May 2018 – READ College, the most successful Performing Arts Foundation Course provider in the country, is delighted to announce that it has appointed Claire Whitehead as their new Head of Sixth Form. As READ College celebrates its 10th anniversary, and with increasing demand for the Sixth Form courses, READ College wishes to ensure that the college’s leading standards of performance arts training remain market leading.

Claire trained as a dancer, graduating at The Urdang Academy in London. After graduating she went to Italy and performed with Compagnia Italiano D’Operetta. She stayed in Italy to build her career in musical theatre and dance.  Some of her credits include Forza Venite Gente, Singin’ in the Rain, Hello Dolly and a Chorus Line.  In 2000 she decided to further her dramatic studies at Webber Douglas Academy in London and since graduating has appeared in a number of commercials, shortfilms and been on tour.
